Elite Angler is a London based online tackle shop for lure anglers. We stock rods, reels, braided line, lures, hooks and terminal tackle from Japanese makers, hold it in London, and ship it across the United Kingdom.

Japanese sourcing
We buy from the makers and their distributors, most of them in Japan, where tolerances and finish on rods, reels and terminal tackle are held to a standard you notice on the first cast.
Curated, not endless
Eighty products, over five hundred sizes and colours. Enough to build a complete perch, pike, zander, trout, sea trout or seabass setup, and nothing in the list for the sake of it.
Hard to find brands
Daiwa, Shimano, Gurza, Smith, YGK, Yamaga Blanks, Major Craft, Jackall, Keitech, Varivas and others, including models that rarely reach UK shelves.
Held in London
Everything listed is held in London. Orders go out by Royal Mail or DPD, tracked, usually within 1 to 2 working days.
A small team of working anglers, not a warehouse
Everything in the catalogue is here because someone on the team would fish with it: perch and zander gear, pike tackle, salmon and sea trout kit, trout spoons, seabass lures. If a product does not earn its place on the water, it does not earn a place in the shop.
That also shapes how we answer questions. Ask which braid suits a particular rod, or what to run on a finesse setup for winter perch, and the answer comes from someone who has fished the combination.
Our aims are simple: promote the sport, back the anglers who take it seriously, and bring tackle to the UK that would otherwise be difficult to get hold of.

Before you order
Is Elite Angler a physical shop in London?
No. Elite Angler is an online fishing tackle shop. Our London address, 61 Inverness Mews, E16 2SP, is the trading and returns address, not a walk-in store. If you would like to collect or look at something in person, email or call us first and we will arrange it.
Is the tackle actually in stock in the UK?
Yes. Everything listed on the site is held in our London stock. We do not take pre-orders against shipments from Japan, so there is no six week wait: if the site shows an item as in stock, it is here and usually goes out within 1 to 2 working days.
How much does UK delivery cost and how long does it take?
Standard UK delivery is free on orders over £100. Below that, small parcels go by Royal Mail First Class for £3.69, medium parcels (most reels, lines and clothing) by Royal Mail 48 Tracked for £4.99, and large parcels (rods, bags, nets) by DPD signed for at £5.99. What is your returns policy?
You can return goods within 28 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange, provided they are unused, in pristine original packaging and accompanied by the receipt. Refunds go back to the original payment method. The full policy is on the returns page.

Are the products genuine Japanese market items?
Yes. We buy from the makers and their official distributors, most of them in Japan. Many items are Japanese domestic market models that are not normally sold through UK high street shops.
